About Me
For over 20 years I have been learning about natural health and applying the wisdom to help understand my own health problems. I didn't want a sticking plaster effect so I could just manage them, I wanted to understand my own body and knew in my heart that there was more I could do to help myself. I now feel grateful for these health challenges as they have led me to where I am today.

I began practising Yoga and Reiki in 2003 and these were the catalyst for my self healing and self awareness. In 2013 I began teaching Yoga after completing my diploma at Yoga Bodhi in Bath and have since studied with various teachers and experienced many different styles including Yin Yoga and Qi Gong. It was during this time that I discovered Kirtan, a practise of singing mantras which has been a source of joy and happiness as it eventually led me to meeting my partner Jon.
In 2014 I became a Professional Reiki Master Practitioner with the guidance of my teacher Ruth Handley and have since been trained in teaching this healing art to others.

Also in 2014 I studied Naturopathy with Emma Jones in Cardiff, learning about natural cleansing techniques and living more in tune with our natural cycles.

In 2020 I began studying Ayurveda with The Ayurvedic Institute in London. I was under the tutelage of Ayurvedic doctors from Sri Lanka and I was blown away with the wisdom I received during this course and how it has supported my other healing modalities and all areas of my life. I have completed the Diploma in Ayurvedic Lifestyle and Nutrition and am continuing my studies with them this year.

In 2024 I joined an apprenticeship training with Sophia Ansari, a psychotherapeutic counsellor and Yoga teacher practising an embodied feminine Yoga Therapy. Yoga Therapy has been the balm that my nervous system was looking for and I am currently offering sessions to complete my case studies.
